Romantic Capodimonte-style cherub vase in duck-egg blue and gold. Italian Rococo revival urn — perfect wedding or Valentine’s gift, gift-boxed with care.

Dating to the mid-20th-century Capodimonte revival (circa 1950–1970), this piece reflects the renewed Italian passion for Rococo forms that swept through Naples and Bassano after the war. The body was cast in two halves — a hallmark of traditional porcelain techniques — and finished with a Sèvres-inspired mark often used by Capodimonte makers of this period.
The glaze is perfectly smooth and lustrous with no crackling, while the gilding is a rich gold tone characteristic of the post-war decorative era. Every line and floral detail is expertly hand-painted, executed with such precision that it might be mistaken for transfer work — a testament to the artisan skill of its makers.
